MODEL TEST SHOOTS
Test Shoots are for models who need specific, usable images to support agency submissions, portfolio development, or client castings — not creative concepts or editorial experimentation.
Many photographers can take a good picture; fewer understand what actually works in a model’s book. These sessions are designed with that in mind — simple, striking, and industry-ready.
For new or developing models ready to elevate their portfolio with clean, professional imagery that agencies value, each shoot is built around authenticity, range, and confidence. Whether you’re applying to an agency, refreshing your book, or preparing for test shoots, every image is shaped to meet real agency standards — natural, expressive, and readable.
SHOOTING WITH ME — WHAT TO EXPECT
1. Pre-Shoot Alignment (Light Consultation)
This is not a moodboard or styling consultation. Instead, we briefly establish:
•Your current stage (pre-agency, newly signed, developing)
•Intended market or direction (fashion, commercial, lifestyle, character)
•What your book currently lacks or needs strengthening
This ensures the shoot has a clear developmental purpose, rather than producing generic or speculative images.
2. The Shoot
•1-hour studio or controlled on-location session
•Clean, industry-appropriate lighting designed to show structure and proportion
•Simple, intentional wardrobe choices (guided in advance)
•Up to 3 clean, readable looks (no heavy styling)
•Calm, precise direction on posture, movement, and expression
Focus is placed on:
•Natural presence
•Subtle range
•Images that sit comfortably alongside agency-produced test shoots
3. Post-Production
•Light, natural retouching only
•Clean colour balance and tonal consistency
•No reshaping, heavy skin work, or stylised grading
•Images prepared to meet agency and casting expectations
